DS3-Global’s Upcoming Pilots: Driving Innovation in Pakistan and Bangladesh

Since the launch of our CommUnity Shelter Gen 3.0, the response has been nothing short of extraordinary. I’m thrilled to share that we’re preparing to embark on two major pilot programs, one in Pakistan and one in Bangladesh. These pilots represent pivotal opportunities to showcase the transformative potential of our solutions in real-world applications.

Listening, Learning and Acting on What Matters
From the very beginning, DS3-Global has taken a different path. It would’ve been far easier to offer what everyone else does: short-term, standardised shelter solutions that meet only the most basic requirements. Instead, we made a deliberate choice to challenge the status quo.

We’ve listened closely to displaced communities, aid agencies and field experts, learning what truly matters when lives are uprooted by crises. Through that process, we’ve developed shelters that are not just practical but innovative, offering enhanced safety, sustainability and dignity.

Pilots Designed to Tackle Unique Challenges
Pakistan

• Objective: Build climate-resilient shelter solutions for flood-prone areas.

• Focus: Addressing the immediate and long-term needs of communities facing recurring natural disasters with shelters designed to withstand extreme conditions while offering adaptability for future use.

Bangladesh

• Objective: Deploy modular shelters to address the complex challenges of growing displacement.

• Focus: Providing scalable solutions that meet the needs of dynamic and often overcrowded camps, with features that promote privacy, safety and environmental resilience.

The Path Ahead
